About this neighbourhood
The Central Yate part of the beat comprises Yate, south of the shopping centre, and the parish of Dodington. It covers all the built-up areas between Chipping Sodbury and Westerleigh Common. The Yate North part of the beat comprises the Cranleigh Court Road Estate and the area known as Brimsham Park and surrounding area. Yate West covers the area of the shopping centre, the Ridge Estate and the area out towards Yate Rocks.
