ABOUT 30 fashion-conscious “witches” dropped in at the Bear Inn, Perrott’s Brook, last weekend to celebrate Hallowe’en with a barbecue.
In fact the witches were there to compete in a contest organised by landlord Barry Glen and his wife, to find the best dressed among them, and after length deliberation the prizes went to Jessica Lamb and Abigail Iredale.
The barbecue raised £150 for Charity.
JENNY Ager and Darryl Solman, aged 8 were joined by other children during half-term at the Cotswold Countryside Collection in Northleach, where they made costumes to celebrate the last day of October.
