Forest Green's home games with Mansfield on Saturday and Colchester United on Tuesday have been postponed.

It comes after a number of Rovers players tested positive for Covid-19.

A statement on the club's website read: “We have informed the EFL that we would be unable to fulfil the fixtures at The Fully Charged New Lawn due to a number of positive Covid-19 cases in the squad.

“A rearranged date for the fixtures will be confirmed in due course. Once these are confirmed, we will announce ticketing details for these games.”

The Colchester clash had already been postponed from November due to a number of international call-ups for the visitors.

Only four matches took place in League Two on Saturday, as the Covid crisis threatens to once again play havoc with the football season.

Rovers are due to travel to Newport County on Boxing Day, before hosting Exeter City on December 29 and Stevenage on New Year's Day.
