THE first ladies’ medal competition of the year took place on Thursday, July 9, following a gentle re-emergence from lockdown.
Thirty seven ladies took part and Ali Kelly shot a wonderful gross 72, nett 69 (playing off a handicap of 3, and a course par of 73).
The Division 2 winner (handicaps 20.5 to 36.4) was Emma Collins with a net 75, pipping Pam Mallinson by two shots into second place.
There were five players who scored birdie twos: Karen Pracy-Jennings, Brenda Taylor, Ali Kelly, Jayne Worthington and Pam Mallinson.
Chris Moylan was in celebratory mood on Monday, July 13, when she had her first hole in one, acing the 13th hole!
Chris’s playing partner Jan Flynn bought the drinks to celebrate when they got back to the clubhouse.
