THE Cirencester Football League is facing the prospect of having to disband due to a fall in club membership.
Formed in 1921, the league has seen a steady decline in membership over the last decade when 30 teams competed.
The current season started with 10 teams, but was reduced to nine when one club folded. Another club has switched to another league and others are considering their position, which now leaves six teams.
Any club within 25 miles of Cirencester who would like to enter a team should contact Phil Smith on 07775750391 or Dennis Young on 07815885336 or contact the League via http://fulltime-league.thefa.com/Index.do?league=6087913
