ONE TO WATCH: Marc Richards

No Swindon Town fan needs to be told about the dangers that former players pose - just look at Theo Robinson for Colchester on Tuesday night.

Marc Richards can realistically do the same at the Abbey Stadium this weekend.

Just under nine months ago, the experienced forward was in talks with Port Vale regarding a last-minute deadline day move.

But any possibility of a deal fell through when Richards got caught in traffic on his was to Staffordshire from his home in Northampton.

Now at Cambridge, Richards has struck three goals in yellow and black - and could prove a spoiler come Saturday afternoon.

KEY BATTLE: Ellis Iandolo vs Kyle Knoyle

RICHIE WELLENS’ liking to playing his full backs high when advancing forward with possession is clear for all to see.

Kyle Knoyle was in that exact position only six months ago, but he will now face the 39-year-old Town boss’ tactic following his switch to join Cambridge during the summer.

Ellis Iandolo’s work rate and desire to win possession has stood out in his appearances this season to date, and the equally hard-working Knoyle will certainly meet his match.

Iandolo will, however, be looking for greater support after lacking his teammates’ presense when Colchester visited on Tuesday.
