Malmesbury Vics cooked up a storm on their way to a resounding 13-0 victory over New College Academy FC.
As the season kicked off it was exactly the start that Vics manager Andy Wicks would have hoped for after a competitive pre-season.
The league favourites completely dismantled their young opponents with Shane Bumphrey scoring five goals.
Malmesbury took the lead in the 10th minute with Josh Hughes finishing well, before Sam Parker scored two quickfire goals before the 16th minute.
By half-time the score was 6-0 to the home side.
The second-half was much more of the same and the Vics eased to the 13-0 triumph.
Malmesbury now prepare for their next match in the FA Cup preliminary round against Longlevens this Saturday.
