Charlie Griffin will make a decision on trialists after their game against Fairford Town on Friday.

The Cirencester Town boss has been looking at former Mansfield Town and Birmingham City youngster Rhys Sarson and former Didcot Town, Abingdon United, Reading City midfielder Jonny Dennis.

Both featured in the 4-3 defeat against Swindon Supermarine in a friendly on Tuesday night.

Dennis came close to scoring having started for the Centurions while Sarson made a cameo appearance from the bench in the second half.

Griffin has revealed he will make up his mind on whether to sign the players after Friday's match against Fairford.

"I said to the lads I'd let them know after Friday," he said.

"We've had lads from the development, Sam Farr played, Miles Arnold, Max Lloyd then a few lads that we've had on trial.

"Rhys is only a young lad, Levi (Irving) has had a couple of good chances as well and we played some good football so I was pleased for them.

"They deserved their chance tonight, they've run out and they'll get another one on Friday."

Griffin also discussed his side's performance against Supermarine and also revealed why Tommy Anderson and Jordan Morris weren't involved.
