MALMESBURY'S Louis Harvey, who races in the junior TKM Karting class, was last year ranked seventh in the country and this year is currently running third in the Motorsport UK British Karting Championship and leading the Rissington Kart Club Championship, will return to the Wera Tool stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where his kart and a selection of trophies will be on display. The event runs from July 4-7.

Harvey he will be there to answer questions about karting, how he got into the sport, his experiences in motor racing and how Wera Tools have supported him in his racing career.

Ian Walford the UK managing director for Wera Tools / Wera Tools Rebels, said: “Louis came to our attention two years ago as a potential motor racing star. Today, he’s proving that this is a distinct probability and Wera Tools are excited to be associated with him."

In 2017, Harvey was lucky enough to get a tour of the Mercedes F1 pits and met Valtteri Bottas who is currently running 2nd in the 2019 Formula one season. Harvey also met Nico Rosberg who was at the time the reigning F1 World champion and many other top names in Motorsport, including Mark Higgins (rally and stunt driver), Robert Kubica who has made his return to F1 in 2019, Pierre Gasly (Red Bull F1 driver) and Nick Heidfeld.

Harvey said: “I am looking forward to being at Goodwood again especially being on the Wera Tools stand, I get to meet great people who are interested in my racing and talk about how Wera Tools support me. Goodwood is such a great event with so much to see and do.”
