Lucy Walmsley finished as third lady in 2:19 in her opening race of the season with the DB Max #51fiver, a standard distance triathlon held at the Cotswold Water Park.

Elsewhere, Steve Edwards ran his 868th marathon as Saturn Hard Days Run Reading in 3:25:30 for third place. A pleasant 8 lap trail course along the River Thames.

Kate Krzywiec and Jason Oliver were at the Northleach multi terrain 10km, Krzywiec was ninth overall and first lady in 44:33. Oliver not far behind in 44:54.

Dennis Walmsley, Mike Kelly and Jason Shailer completed the Fire Service Park run in Moreton-in-Marsh on Saturday. First home for the trio was Walmsley with a course PB MV55 19:00, closely followed by Kelly in 19:16 for a 5km PB and Shailer in 25:30.

NCTR Juniors: Meg Parry ran her first official 10km race taking part in the City Of Gloucester 10km. Meg finished in a fantastic time of 50:33. Chloe and Pippa Krzywiec, Reuben and Imogen Long-Field ran the 5km fun run at Northleach. Reuben finished in 13:56, Chloe in 18:13, Pippa 18:56 and Imogen 23:03.

Many of the Juniors were in Tewkesbury for the Tri Team Glos Young Triathletes 2019 and for a few this was their first triathlon. With members ranging from Tri star start (TSS) to Tri star 3 (TS3). For TSS Hannah Roddick & Jasper Williams, Hannah was 1st girl in 10.53:45, Jasper 2nd boy 10.09:40. TS1 Olivia Roddick, Lucy Hillary, Phoebe Miller, Thomas Cassidy, Jamie Lewis and Eddie Mchale. Thomas 16:25:48, Jamie 19:13.84, Eddie 20:26:87, Olivia 16:54:73, Lucy 19:58:52, Phoebe 22:54:58. TS2 Noah Williams 26:51:11 and TS3 Isabel Dennet 41:13:24.
