Phil Brush came home with a well deserved bronze at the World Series Powerman Duathlon in Viborg.

He finished in an overall time of 2:53:49 and third in his age group 35-39.

Elsewhere, marathon man Steve Edwards was in Milton Keynes for marathon number 867 - pacing the sub 3:30 runners Edwards brought them home in 3:28:33.

Pauline Teague did the Swashbuckler 70.3 in the New Forest. It was a cold 6.15am river swim 1.2m, before a 56 mile bike ride and then a tough almost 14 mile run to finish in 6.30 and first in her age group.

Roger Owen ran his first Ultra Marathon competing in the Chiltern Ridge Ultra Trail 50km - 35th past the line in 6:08.

Kelsey Winter and Izzy Lane were at the Tewkesbury Half Marathon, Winter ran a PB going sub two hours with 1:58 and Izzy ran her first half with a fantastic effort of 3:05.

The NCTR ladies were running up a storm in the Hilly 100 relay organised by Stratford Atheltics Club. Head coach Dennis Walmsley entered an all female team this year for the event with each runner completing 10miles of the 100mile relay starting and finishing in Stratford. The ladies came home in a well deserved 4th place all female team out of eight teams.
