NORTH COTSWOLD TRI & RUN CLUB
Jason Shailer ran a new personal best at Milton Keynes Rocket 5K crossing the line in 20.45 and the following day he competed in his first half marathon, again in Milton Keynes and crossed the line in 1:46:29.
Hannah Mackenzie also ran in the Milton Keynes Half Marathon, knocking seven minutes off her previous time with a new PB of 1:46:31.
Elsewhere, William Roberts from North Cotswold Tri and Run Juniors competed at the White Horse Triathlon, in Calne. He completed the TriStar one course in 19:22, finishing in 23rd place in his age group. Other junior members were at the ‘May the 4th be with you’ park run at the Fire Service College. Reuben Field-Long got first JM10 in 24:03 35th/334 and his sister Imogen got 10th JW10 in 39:06 283rd/334 and both got personal bests.
Dennis Walmsley set a new MV55 course record of 19:30 at Moreton Fire College Park Run.
