Leeds United have reportedly made an approach to sign Forest Green midfielder Reece Brown.

Brown is out of contract in the summer and has impressed for Rovers scoring 10 goals as well as providing 14 assists which has caught the eye of the Championship club according to Football Insider.

The 23-year-old has also attracted interest from Bristol City and Reading according to Sky Sports.

At a recent fans forum, Forest Green boss Mark Cooper said: "It's been well publicised he is out of contract.

"He's under 24 so it would be a compensation issue.

"We've made him numerous offers.

"I believe if we were to get promoted he would stay, that's my hunch."
