Malmesbury Victoria earned a hard fought 1-0 victory against Kidlington Development to move into the top four.

Shane Bumphrey's goal in the 50th minute from the penalty spot was enough for the Vics who stretched their winning run in the league to six.

It was fifth v sixth before kick off and the win moved Malmesbury into fourth place, four points clear of their opponents.

They travel second place Cheltenham Saracens on Wednesday night before they face Almondsbury at the Flying Monk Ground on Saturday.
