RANDWICK...... 1 TETBURY.......... 3

Tetbury Town reached the final of the County Cup with a dominant victory over Randwick on Saturday.

A thorough and focussed pre-match warm up by Phil Seal had the players on their toes and their attitude was faultless from the off.

Tetbury flew out of the blocks winning every battle all over the park and looked menacing on the attack.

However, despite the fast start Tetbury were unable to find the opening goal and almost conceded when the lively striker was clean through on goal only to be denied by a stunning Ant Hillman tackle.

This spurred on the Oranges and the opening goal duly arrived. Ewan Thompson picked up the ball at left back and proceeded to dribble down the wing taking on all and sundry before unleashing an unstoppable right foot drive into the top corner from 25 yards, a goal of the season contender no doubt.

Half time arrived and Tetbury looked comfortable.

Tetbury came out hungry in the second half.

Hillman and skipper Halliday looking unbreakable at the back and the midfield trio of Robinson, Freeman and Jones dominated.

Tetbury pushed on looking for the vital second goal and they deservedly got it when Jones volleyed in an unstoppable strike from 25 yards.

The hosts were looking shot but still pressed looking for a way back in but these hopes were all but gone when two silly bookings for the

Randwick striker saw him dismissed and they were down to 10 men.

With inevitable gaps appearing all over the field, Tetbury finished the game off when Seal lifted the ball over the keeper to make it three.

Randwick scored a late consolation but it was Tetbury who booked their place in the final.
