CIRENCESTER Town boss Charlie Griffin was pleased to see Cirencester 'get their mojo back' after they thumped Bideford on Saturday.

The Centurions had gone four games without a win before they blitzed Bideford.

Griffin was delighted with the performance and praised his players for finding their mojo and putting in a ruthless display.

"That's what we said to the lads about finding our mojo again. The last four have been difficult," said Griffin.

"On the back of that there's talk but they responded today with a really good performance, positive on the front four and we were so clinical but from back to front we were excellent."

Alan Griffin scored four of Cirencester's eight while Jack Freeman, Ellis Dunton, Ben Whitehead and Aidan Bennett also got on the scoresheet.

Griffin's quadruble of goals came from a combined six yards.

Boss Charlie was pleased to see his team scoring those type of goals coming from wide-areas and with how deadly his forwards were.

"You've got to come alive in the box," Griffin commented.

"Ben got four assists as well and Al's tucked them away so pleased because it's nice for us to score from wide areas, because we haven't done that lately but an all round good performance today."

Despite the result, Griffin insists Bideford are still a very strong team, which makes the result even more impressive and still thinks they'll have an impact on the league this season.

"They're a dangerous team," he said. "They beat Evesham and Yate so we've beaten a very good team and they'll have a say at the end of the season."
