GFA Trophy Quarter Final
Fairford Town were knocked out of the GFA Trophy as Henbury progressed to the semi-final with victory at Cinder Lane on Tuesday night.
After a goalless first half, the visitors took the lead on 48 minutes through Harvey Moran.
They doubled their lead five minutes later when Kane Mannings netted.
Manager Jody Bevan, who was named on the bench, made a couple of changes and Fairford got back into the game when Charlie Bailey finished beautifully but Fairford were unable to draw level.
After the game, Bevan said on Twitter: "Such a disappointment, we were simply not good enough from start to finish and let ourselves down and Henbury deserved to win."
