North Cotswold Tri and Run
Marathon runner Steve Edwards got off to a flying start for 2019 finishing in third place at the Start me Up in Hayes within 3:22:59.
His 854th marathon was a testing 14 double laps of the undulating Hillingdon Cycle Circuit kicked off 2019 with his best time since last September and a podium finish.
Elsewhere, Over at Witney Park Run, Phoebe Miller completed her 10th park run.
She ran into the finish with her father Dusty as she finished second JW10 in 30:05, and fellow team mate Roger Owen was 22:07.
Other team mates took part in the Fire Service Park run in Moreton in Marsh.
Mike Hobbs was 3rd overall in 19:29, closely followed by Mike Kelly with a new PB of 20:41 and representing the ladies was Vivien D’Alton 29:22.
