Dursley 2s 7
Cirencester 2s 33
CIRENCESTER 2nds continued with their winning ways with a well-deserved win in this top of the table clash.
From the kick-off it was Ciren who applied all the early pressure only to see dropped passes and the final ball not going to hand. It was the home side who capitalised to get a try against the run of play, duly converted to take a seven-point lead.
This only galvanised the visitors and led to periods of domination where the home side could not clear their lines and in spite of many breaks in play, tries being scored by Steve Macfarlane and Steve Brunsdon.
The second-half saw Cirencester in control, but having to deal with a host of changes to playing personnel, but still scoring at regular intervals to maintain a comfortable victory, and remain at the top of the league.
