Malmesbury Youth Football Club received a donation
A youth football team from Malmesbury is celebrating after receiving a generous donation from a convenience store.
Malmesbury Youth Football Club has been running for a number of years and has youth teams aged from under 7's right up to under 16's.
The club is ran by around 30 volunteers associated with the club.
The 12 teams compete in the North Wilts, Mid Wilts and Cotswold Youth League.
Earlier this week they received a donation of £8058.16 from Malmesbury Co-op.
On their Facebook they said: "This will give us the chance to make huge improvements.
"Thank you to Co-op and their customers for the support. It is really appreciated.
"Co-op really do give back to the community."
