Stroud and District Division 1: Woodchester B claimed the bragging rights when defeating their A team club mates 6-4, although none of the home side could defeat Mark Farrow who was unbeaten for Woodchester A.

The points were evenly shared in another in club derby, this time it was Phoenix B who drew with their A side, Liwu Wei was unbeaten for the B team hosts. Thornbury A suffered a heavy defeat at home to Yate for whom Andy Cox, Will Berkley and Joseph Sheppard won all their singles in the 9-1 win.

Frampton A entertained Forest Green A and it was the visitors Marcus Holba who left with a hat trick and man of the match as his side won 6-4. Dave Hadley was undefeated as he led his inexperienced team to a five all draw against the visiting two players from Cirencester.

Division 2: Forest Green B played hosts to Frampton B and thanks to maximum scores from the visitors Bob Murray and Steve Porter the visitors left with a 7-3 victory.

Cam & Dursley’s players, Harry Prescott, Alex Yeung and Joe Collins were all unbeaten in a 9-1 home win against the two players from Randwick B. Nailsworth A entertained local rivals Phoenix D but with Mike Davis and Sally Jones going unbeaten for the visitors the home side lost 3-7.

Frampton C came up against a strong Thornbury B team and with Gavin Rogers and Mark Attwood scoring maximums for the visitors the home side lost 2-8.

Steve Greening scored a maximum which helped Whiteshill A to a five all draw against the visiting Randwick A.

Division 3: Olly Philp and Roger Davis bagged a hat trick each as Woodchester C defeated the visiting Randwick C 9-1.

Phoenix F lost 4-6 at home to their E team club-mates in a match, which no one player could dominate.

Phoenix G suffered a heavy 9-1 defeat at the home of Cam & Dursley B with both Tony Averis and Harry Hogan scoring maximums for the home team.

Whitehill B were too strong for the visiting Woodchester D, Steve Partridge and Barry Jordan each scored a maximum for the hosts in the 8-2 win.

Division 4: Randwick D beat the visiting Phoenix I team 6-4 but they couldn’t beat the visitors Thomas Spellman who was man-of-the-match with a hat-trick of wins. Nailsworth B were too strong for their local rivals Forest Green C winning the tie 9-1 thanks to maximum scores from Tim Fogarty and Alun Davies. Ed Loader was unbeaten for Phoenix H when they entertained Cam & Dursley C but couldn’t prevent the home side losing 3-7.
