Marathon man Steve Edwards had a busy week. He First won the Dorney River trail marathon, Windsor on Monday in 3:28:49, his 65th marathon win before he came fourth at the Relativity trail marathon, Northampton on Saturday in 3:35:17. Now on 849, he is hoping to hit the 850 landmark in a fortnight
Cotswold Running Broadway Half Marathon - First home for the club was Kelly Read as 11th Female in 02:05:46. Snapping at her heels was Laura Williams putting in a strong performance as 18th female in 02:16:51, last of the females was Ann Hillary in 02:26:32 and 27th female. Representing the men was James Dunn who ran a strong race in 02:32:46
Marie Brush took part in a local event with the Aston Under Hill 5km and was 1st Female in 20:36.
Claire Harrison took part in the Chilly 10km race at Castle Coombe, finishing 11th female in a field of 374 and finish time of 43:25.
Pippa Brown was out on the bike in her furthest ride of 45 miles, taking part in the Performance Cycles Mini Sportive in just over 3 hours.
NCTR Juniors were at the Witney Park Run on Saturday. Lucy Hillary won the JW10 with a PB of 28.44, in 2nd place for JW10 was team mate Phoebe Miller with another PB of 29.13. Up for the boys was Thomas Cassidy in 3rd JM10 with 25.35 and Jan Winkowski in 6th place in 32:35.
