Cheltenham Town Ladies Under-18s 6
Dursley Town Ladies 1
DESPITE being on the wrong end of a one-sided scoreline, Dursley made sure that Cheltenham's young side knew they were in a game on Sunday.
Having endured an unpleasant afternoon on several levels in the reverse fixture, Dursley worked the hosts hard and carried a threat themselves.
The strong wind and a couple of sloppy moments in defence allowed the home side to take a four-goal half-time lead.
The game could have been over, however the visitors then rallied and could have found themselves back in the game were it not for some poor finishing.
Michelle Watson just failed to get the right contact onto a Chanelle Uzzell corner, however Zoe Gabb volleyed a great goal from a half-clearance to reduce the deficit and give Dursley some hope.
Short of confidence, Dursley just seemed to lack the cutting edge that would have forced further goals, and instead Cheltenham pulled away again.
The home side certainly did not have things all their own way, though, which included being kept well in check by the firm but fair refereeing of Colin Ward.
