Minety progressed to the third round of the Wiltshire Cup with an impressive win over Priory Vale.
The first 10mins was an even affair until pacey Minety striker Pike was shown two yellow cards in controversial terms.
It seemed to galvanise the team as Minety started to dominate possession. On 15 minutes captain Sam Hainsworth whipped in a trademark corner for the leaping Walker to fire a bullet header past the stranded Vale keeper, although initially it looked to come off his hand.
On 25 minutes the gifted Topping, desperate for his first goal of the season, had some neat footwork resulting in a deflected shot dropping to Collier to double the lead.
Plenty more dominance and some great football Minety went in at half time with a 2-0 advantage.
The second half carried on where it left off, but with a strong head wind less chances created.
Wingers Pinnel and Kingsley never stopped running, chasing every ball and still offering an attacking threat although down to 10 men.
No more goals but it was a comfortable and deserved victory for Minety. Vale offered plenty of fight late on but couldn’t match Minety who saw out the game.
