CIRENCESTER AND DISTRICT LEAGUE
Poulton 1
Intel 3
Intel produced a ruthless first half performance to brush Poulton aside.
The was closer than the score suggests, Intel started off the better but Poulton withstood the storm and got back in the game but the visitors were more lethal in front of goal than Poulton in the first half.
They took the lead midway through the half when Ashley Piotrowski scored.
Further goals from Jon Lee and Lewis Fox gave them a three goal half time lead.
The second half saw Poulton take the game to Intel, pushing them back and Andy Edwards reduced the deficit.
Poulton were getting on top and halfway into the half, they were awarded a penalty. With regular penalty taker Steve Edwards
injured, Dan Read stepped up to take it but blazed it over the bar. Despite their best efforts, Poulton could not reduce the arrears and Intel claimed all three points.
