Forest Green have made a record profit of £422,647 in their latest set of annual figures for the financial year ended April 30, 2018.
In a statement regarding the accounts, the club state a “combination of EFL League Two status, global media coverage and a continued focus on the commercial operation resulted in a significant increase in turnover” from £2m to £4.9m.
There has been extra investment in the first team and academy, from £2.9m to £3.5m.
The net assets of the company increased to £1,069,909 from £6,659 in 2017 through the addition of ordinary shares.
