Plymouth 0-3 Swindon

Swindon Town completed their Checkatrade Trophy group stage campaign with an emphatic win over League One strugglers Plymouth Argyle.

Marc Richards, Keshi Anderson and the returning Kaiyne Woolery netted for the Robins on Tuesday night.

Phil Brown made seven changes to his team and they went ahead on 16 minutes when Richards headed in Jak McCourt's cross.

Argyle should have equalised on 36 minutes when Ruben Lameiras hit the crossbar when one on one directly in front of goal.

Town doubled their lead two minutes later when Anderson slotted in a lovely right footed striker to double their lead.

Swindon sealed it on 82 minutes when Woolery latched on to a long ball and finished in the box.

Swindon have six points but qualification is yet to be confirmed. Chelsea under 21s and Newport County both have three points and a game in hand, while Plymouth have no points but two games in hand.
