North Cotswold Tri & Run had a fantastic weekend with plenty of personal best on show. Team mates James Dunn, Mike Hobbs, Nicola Wemyss and Daniel Badger all competed in half marathons.

Hobbs was in Wiltshire at the Cricklade Half Marathon. He ran a strong race, finishing third V40 and 15th overall in 1.25.18.

Nicola Wemyss was in her home city of Cardiff. Wemyss was delighted to come in at 1.41, a personal best.

Daniel Badger was up in Snowdonia for the Trail Events Snowdon half. Badger completed the hard course in 03:18:25 with an overall position of 37th out of 222 runners. James Dunn was in Oxfordshire for the Oxford Half, he ran a Personal best of 1.49.19

At the MBNA Chester Marathon it was brilliant performances all round from North Cotswold Tri and Run runners. The quality of the field was strong as the race Incorporated the Celtic Challenge and British Masters Championship.

First home was Dennis Walmsley in a time of 1:49:59 to win the V55 British Masters champion title. Claire Harrison took over 20 minutes off her last marathon time putting in to run a magnificent 3:19:22 taking nine seconds off her own record for that course.

Pippa Brown took four minutes off her best to post a personal best time of 03:53:29. A personal best by 13 minutes was the prize for Lisa Cartilage in a time of 04:09:12, not bad for a training run.
