Jenny Manners made a stunning return to European Cup triathlon racing when she finished in second place at the Székesfehérvár European Triathlon Union sprint event held in Hungary.
Manners was fourth to exit the swim and then in a group of 12 in the front breakaway group on the bike leg followed by a superb finish to her race with the second fastest run leg of the race.
Since a pre-season injury, Jenny has made fine progress.
She achieved third place in the elite race at the Blenheim Triathlon in June followed by fourth place in the British Senior Elite Championships held in Cardiff and 5th place in the Escape Series Elite Triathlon in London.
Jenny had targeted a top five finish so was delighted to exceed that.
