County League
Frampton United 2
Henbury 1
FRAMPTON moved up to second with a 2-1 victory at home to Henbury.
Ryan Vincent had the first chance to open the scoring after 20 minutes, but failed to get his lobbed effort over Henbury keeper Cameron Tarr.
Henbury created several half chances, but failed to put them away.
A minute into the second half, Tarr made a tremendous save to deny Manolo Espada.
The visitors took the lead on 74 minutes - Ross Jones heading in from a corner, but two minutes later the home side were level as Nathan Dennis passed to Nathan Payne for Vincent to pounce.
Then, with just three minutes left, the home side grabbed the winner - Espada smashing home Vincent’s cross.
Elsewhere, high-flying Stonehouse's match at Kingswood was postponed
