Corinium Force over-70s Walking Football Club finished second in their first tournament since the summer break.

The small tournament saw Corinium come up against Keynsham, Weston and Clevedon as they got back into the swing of things after some time off.

They began the competition against a talented Keynsham side who stormed to a 2-0 lead in 10 minutes, despite Corinium improving they went onto to lose their opening match.

Force then faced Weston and found their mojo to earn a deserved 2-0 win.

The final game was against Clevedon and Corinium Force were comfortable in a 3-0 triumph to secure second place behind Keynsham who won all their matches.

Walking Football has restarted at the Arena next to Cirencester Town FC with sessions for over 50’s each Friday from 3-4pm.
