THIRTY-TWO Cirencester Ladies Golf Club players took part in the Birthday Vase competition which finished just before the heavy rain started.
Pam Mallinson came back to form and played a superb game, winning with 69 points and consequently had her handicap cut by 2 as a reward.
Jane Salter finished second with 71 and third was Muriel Telling with 73 points.No twos were recorded but 2 ladies returned to the clubhouse to hang birdies on the tree.
On Saturday, the ladies played their June medal. Division 1 was won by Jessica Brown with a score of 75, second was Blanche Neal with 76 and third was Deb Organ with 78.
Division 2 was won by Paddy Challens with 77. Again two ladies were able to return and hang birdies on the tree.
