Charles Darwin Marathon Shrewsbury

Steve Edwards ran the Charles Darwin Marathon in Shrewsbury.

On a mentally testing 43 laps of the Sports village cyclo park.

It was a bitterly cold day with bursts of hail and snow showers thrown in for good measure, but Steve managed to finish in 3:28:23 for 1st V55 and 10th place overall for what was his 812th marathon.

Moreton Morrell Mad Dash 10km

Laura Williams was delighted to record a new personal best at the Moreton Morrell mad Dash 10k, her time of 53:46 was nearly five minutes quicker than her previous 10k best and she finished 5th in her age category.
