Ladies' section
LIZ DODD presented Malaney Varaljay-Boyce, head of regional fundraising and events for Winston's Wish (Liz's chosen charity during her captain's year) with a cheque for £5,230 last Thursday.
This was a fantastic amount raised by the ladies' section of Cirencester Golf Club during 2017 and was gratefully received by the charity.
Greensomes
THE Cirencester ladies played a 14-hole Greensomes competition last Thursday.
The winners were Gill Hunter & Kay Fullerton with 29 points who beat Jayne Worthington & Kath Burbage (29) on countback. Sally Hadley & Bonnie Green were third with 28 points.
