Gloucester Three
Tetbury 23
Westbury-on-Severn 10
IN A stop-start Gloucester Three game that included a yellow card for both teams and a red card for away side Westbury, Tetbury came away with a 23-10 win thanks to tries from Ryan Leather, Bill Udall and Tom Seal.
Fly half Tom Horrell scored the remainder of the points with the boot.
A solid performance from the home team against a side who played in Gloucester Two last season was a great way to see off co-captain Tom Seal as he goes to Australia for a sabbatical.
Tetbury coach Stephen Knight, who made his first league appearance for more than seven years, was delighted that his side took the league points and for their much improved decision making.
Knight said: “Tetbury have plenty of talented players along with some young players who have so much potential.
“It was pleasing to see them pick up a win against a dogged Westbury side.”
Tetbury don’t have a league fixture this weekend but they entertain fourth-placed Cainscross on November 25.
