Darryl Ritchings
PURTON'S Darryl Ritchings, who has been captaining the Swindon Sprockets team in the National League, has announced his retirement from the sport, writes Phil Rice.
It is believed the local lad has fallen out of love with speedway.
On Thursday the Sprockets entertain group winners Plymouth in the National Trophy clash at the Abbey.
