PURTON FC held their Annual General Meeting at the Red House Club last Saturday and announced changes to their committee as well as a new management team.

Alan Eastwood remains the club’s president and honorary secretary and continues in charge of press and programmes, but he has stepped down as chairman.

That role has now been taken up by Terry Crumbie who also replaces the previous honorary treasurer, Phil Storey.

Purton FC were demoted from the Hellenic League after failing to meet the league's criteria regarding stands and floodlighting and manager Justin Miller stepped down.

The club has now appointed joint managers in Neil Lee, formerly connected with Clanfield 85, and Liam Lewis, along with an assistant, Kerry Lees, to run the team in the Wilts Senior League for the 2017/2018 season.
