SCOTT TREMAIN has become the Gloucestershire Cricket Board’s (GCB) first ever growth development officer.
The 25-year-old – who moves from his role as community coach – will be responsible for increasing participation in a number of areas including women and girls’ and disability cricket.
The former University of Gloucestershire student joined the GCB as community coach for Stroud and the Forest of Dean in 2014. Since then he has coached extensively in schools and run the county’s successful Under-19 and Under-16 T20 competitions.
The Dumbleton CC 1st XI captain is also the current Gloucestershire Under-11 coach.
