CHARLIE GRIFFIN has made his first appointment as Cirencester Town manager by making Paul Hunt his assistant.
It is a homecoming for ‘Oggie’ Hunt, a former Swindon Town and Cirencester player, who held the same position when number two to Adi Viveash during his spell as boss at the Corinium Stadium.
The popular and much travelled Hunt steps over from Wiltshire where he has been helping out at Purton FC.
“I’ve known Oggie for a long time and we see a lot of each other on the UEFA B Licence course we have been doing,” said Charlie.
“He’s football mad, full of enthusiasm, and we had a very positive meeting at training last night.
“He’s champing at the bit to get started and will be in the dugout with me on Saturday."
