NEW playground markings are brightening up breaktimes at Hatherop Primary School.
After a request from the school council, a number of colourful new designs including a dart board, rocket hopscotch and a scooter track have been painted onto the playground.
And the children are having a fantastic time using them at break and lunchtime, as well as the popular after-school after school club.
There will be an open afternoon at the school on Thursday, November 12 from 1pm to 3pm where the new markings will be on show and headteacher Sam Bartholomew urged people to attend.
Mr Bartholomew said: “Staff and pupils are delighted with the new facilities. Please come and take a look during our open afternoon.”
A member of the school’s council, James Conlan, said the council was really pleased with the new additions to the playground.
