LITTLE ones from Kempsford Pre-School took a break from class to stretch their tiny feet earlier this term.
The toddle waddle, which was organised to raise cash for the school, saw the youngsters walk to the nearby St Mary’s Church in Kempsford and then rest and enjoy cupcakes made by staff from the school.
As a reward for their efforts the youngsters were given a certificate to say well done for taking part.
Many of the children said they had a wonderful time on the walk.
Ellie Hyett said: “I think I like the snack at the end.”
And Thomas Gladwyn said the best part of the walk was eating the sweetie on his cake.
The next fundraising event for the pre-school is Kempsford Wine Festival, which is taking place at Kempsford Primary School Hall in the High Street on Friday, June 12 at 7.30pm.
