WORDS cannot express how sad we all are about the Lloyds bank closing in Fairford but if it has to be perhaps a solution would be to use at least some of it for a much needed museum on Fairford together with a tourist centre.
Also, as the post office will undoubtedly be very busy, they could be helped to move into part of the building which would have more space and therefore keep the ATM where it is.
The Post office was situated on the left side of the bank years ago, with the bank only on the right.
This would keep the building used and continue to be a benefit for the community.
I know this is only a suggestion but it could work.
