A FIXED penalty for careless driving or speeding is issued in the South West every seven minutes according to data released by road safety charity Brake.
Brake has released figures showing how many fixed penalty notices were issued by postcode area last year, showing that 13,686 were issued across all of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
The charity released these figures to mark the start of a campaign calling on all road users to look out for each other.
