MOTORCYCLIST Luke Woodhams shot this astonishing video of a mysterious object in the night sky.
He was riding towards the BP garage on the A429 just outside Malmesbury, Wiltshire, when his camera picked up a bright light shooting overhead.
It is most likely a shooting star, a piece of rock or dust from space that falls into the Earth's atmosphere.
It heats up and glows as it moves through the atmosphere.
Astronomers call shooting stars meteors.
Most burn up in the atmosphere before they reach the ground.
But occasionally a meteor is large enough that some of it survives and reaches Earth's surface. Then it is called a meteorite.
There are no reports of what Luke saw hitting the ground... that's if it was a shooting star!
