Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Johannes Radebe will soon be swapping his dancing shoes for a microphone in a new hosting role.
Radebe will be joining new hosts Emma Willis and Josh Widdicombe fronting the BBC One dance show after the departure of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
The 2026 series will see the likes of Will Best, Delta Goodrem, Dani Dyer, Dame Sarah Storey and Shaun Wright-Phillips all take to the dance floor in hopes of winning the Glitterball Trophy.
Strictly Come Dancing will start on Saturday, September 19, with the launch show that will be airing on BBC One at 7.25pm.
Who is Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe?
Johannes Radebe is best known for his unforgettable performances, charisma, and groundbreaking partnerships on Strictly Come Dancing.
The professional dancer first joined the UK version of the show in 2018 after competing for two seasons on Strictly Come Dancing South Africa.
He made his UK debut with Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley in the 2019 series, reaching the show's Halloween week.
In 2020, he partnered with actress Caroline Quentin, exiting in week five.
His most memorable run came in 2021 with Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite, as part of the show's first all-male partnership.
The pair reached the final and delivered "iconic routines."
In 2022, he danced with comedian Ellie Taylor, leaving in week 10, and in 2023, he reached the semi-final with tennis player Annabel Croft.
In 2024, he is partnered with Gladiator and former Olympic Athlete, Montell Douglas.
Before joining Strictly, Mr Radebe was already a well-known figure in the dance world, having twice reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing South Africa.
He is also a two-time Professional South African Latin Champion and three-time South African Amateur Latin Champion.
