THE Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water has celebrated another year of “outstanding success” with a 100 per cent success rate at A-level and more than half of all papers being marked grade B of higher.
The results are the highest the school has ever recorded and prompted head of sixth form Will Morgan to praise staff and students for their work.
“After so many negative headlines about the young people of Britain in recent weeks, we are exceptionally proud of the students of The Cotswold School and all that they have achieved,” he said. “They have deservedly achieved success through their talent, dedication and ambition, showing themselves to be role models for our younger students.”
The proportion of A*-B grades was 59 per cent with more than 25 per cent of students achieving an A* or A grade while 84 per cent of papers achieved A*-C grades.
