TETBURY-BASED wood specialist Timberpride, has been recognised for its high standards of environmental, ecological and ethical practices. The company, a leading European oak and timber specialist, has been awarded PEFC and FSC sustainable certifications.
The PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is an international organisation that reinforces sustainable practice to maintain habitats, wildlife and the lives of those living in forest areas.
Similarly, the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) delivers a global certification system, allowing consumers to identify, purchase and use timber from sustainable forests.
