THAT’S our first away win at one of the top clubs and our fourth victory in a row so I am delighted the lads are ensuring that our season does not just peter out.

I thought we beat them fair and square.

The first half was pretty even but I don’t recall them having a shot.

Joner has hit a beauty from 30 yards out into the top corner and then Jody missed a sitter soon after before they got back in the game with an equaliser.

I thought Cambridge were a bit subdued given the position they are in; perhaps we surprised them by having a go.

Again I didn’t think they created anything much in the second half and then Jody has won a flick, Browner has gone through one-on-one with the keeper and calmly finished it. It was nothing more than we deserved.

Zak Westlake came in for the suspended Lyndon Tomkins at centre back to play alongside Matt Sysum and they were both outstanding. I have had to play them both out of position at full back in the past but in their ideal positions they were fantastic.

Joner, Ellis and Eggy did a good job as our midfield three and you can see we are moving forward. It would be great to carry on our winning run until the end of the season.

We host relegation-threatened Didcot in our last home game next Saturday and then we finish at Evesham, who are just above us, on Easter Monday.
