CREATIVE students from Rendcomb College Junior School have won a Corinium Radio writing competition.

The poetry section of Write Out Loud was won by Matthew Hansel and Timothy Chandran and Rebecca Breare were runners-up. India Ross was winner of the story writing competition and Paul Anderson and Matthew Hansel were runners-up.

Martin Watson, headmaster of Rendcomb College Junior School said: “We are so proud of the achievements of our pupils. The quality of their entries was quite outstanding and they were thrilled to win this competition. In particular they really enjoyed being recorded for the radio and are very excited and looking forward to hearing themselves on air.”
