SWINDON WILDCATS bid to extend their winning run to five when they entertain Basingstoke Bison at the Link Centre tonight, writes Scott Gummerson.
The Wildcats maintained their impressive recent form with a 5-1 away success at Bracknell Bees on Thursday.
The Cats drew first blood late into the first period through Ryan Aldridge and within two minutes after the opening of the second session, forward James Knight made it 0-2.
It was still a close fixture, however, and it took until the final 20-minute period before Swindon opened up to put the game beyond doubt with a further three goals.
The first came in the 51st minute through Jonas Höög scoring on a breakaway.
Moments later James Knight made it four, before Jamie Hayes put away Swindon’s fifth and final goal.
Bracknell picked up a late consolation goal through Barker.
